Summary:
With years of experience in the petro-chemical industry, our expert sales staff is knowledgeable in material and application needs that are required in an industrial atmosphere.
The sales staff is also dedicated to providing on-site contact and resources for any special service you may require.
DUTIES OR
Responsibilities:
Promoting the companys products and services.
Shop vendors for best pricing/availability for material.
Upselling.
Cold calling Processing quotes.
Following up on quotes.
Communicate with customers and develop relationships.
Repeat business / client retention.
Supporting outside sales and communicating with them about all quotes and their accounts.
Process orders expediently.
Coordinate with accounting to open and process new accounts and to verify credit worthiness of clients.
Process purchase orders as related to work orders.
Communicate with vendors and develop relationships.
Process tech jobs ready to be invoiced.
EXPERIENCE AND
Qualifications:
1-2 years of sales experience and/or customers service experience.
Educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have good technical writing, grammar, math, and data entry skills.
Must have excellent communication and time management skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
Must be able to work accurately with great attention to detail and be well spoken and friendly yet responsive and persistent.
Must be good at problem solving and must minimize mistakes and miss-shipments.
Working Environment Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
